We understand the challenges churches face. Because we’ve been there! They’ve been our challenges, too. We provide tools and processes and workflows churches need to help people engage in ministry and grow as disciples.
Stephen Wareham (CTO) wanted churches to have the best technology. The kind that enterprises in other industries expected. Kevin McCord (CFO) wanted to help multi-site and multi-lingual churches track everything their people were doing across all ministries. They both wanted simple, flexible tools and a safe way to add new tools. Access from any device or location was key.
Stephen started coding MinistryPlatform in October/November of 2006 and it was installed for our first customer during the spring/summer of 2007.

Early churches started shaping this product and community right away. Chris Kehayias was one of those early adopters and he is now our CEO!
